Centre Ridge, also known as Centre Ridge Regent, is a large community of over 900 homes conveniently located just off of 66 in Centreville Virginia.

The area is filled with amenities and things to do, accessible to the metro via car, and just a short trip away from wide open spaces such as Bull Run and other parks.

There is also a selection of home options, from large colonial style homes with ample yards to well priced townhomes, and some in between.

Home Styles

Centre Ridge has both townhomes and single family homes. There are a handful of models of both. The community consists of 701 townhomes and 234 single family homes.

There were a number of builders credited with constructing homes in the subdivisions. Centex, Ryan Homes, NVHomes, John Laing Homes, Batal Builders and Trafalgar were among them.

The first homes were completed in 1989, and the last ones in 1999.

The exteriors in Centre Ridge Regent have either vinyl or brick siding, and many are a combination of both.

Single Family Homes

There are two primary styles of single family homes in Centre Ridge. The first are large, center hall colonials that sit on a good sized lot (about 1/3 of an acre).

These colonial homes have a semi open floor plan, with open kitchens and large rooms, but also still defined living and dining rooms. The homes have 2 car garages and most have a finished basement.

There are also compact single family homes with a small lot. These homes are open on the main level, with a L shaped floor plan and corner kitchens in the rear. They feature a 1 car garage and finished basement.

Townhomes

There are a couple different style of townhomes in Centre Ridge as well. Some have 1 car garages, others have reserved parking lot spaces.

The townhomes, on average, feature an open floor plan on the main level with a rear corner kitchen and island. They are 3 levels and some have a dug out basement and the garage towns have all 3 levels above the ground.

Because of the large number of clusters in the neighborhood, you will see some townhomes with unique floor plans, elevations and features.

The Neighborhood

Here are some of the perks of being a homeowner in Centre Ridge Regent.

• Outdoor Spaces

There are lots of open spaces to enjoy in the neighborhood, and there is also easy access to some ponds in the area to walk around.

• Trails, Tot Lots & Dog Park

Centre Ridge has some trails and small parks in the neighborhood, perfect for a run or stroll. There is also a dog park available.

If you have kids, there are also some playgrounds to visit.

• Community Center

There is a large community center in the neighborhood, that has a fitness center, racquetball/squash court and can also be rented by residents during weekend hours.

It is located right next to the pool and tennis court.

• Sport Courts

In addition to the indoor racquetball court, there is also an outdoor tennis court and outdoor basketball court in the community for use by the residents.

• Pool

The outdoor pool is open to residents and guests during summer months. Their is also a kiddie pool for little ones fenced in next to the main pool.

• Library

Although the library is run by the county and not the community, it is located just ot the north of the community off Machen Rd. They have not only a great selection but provide some classes and programs as well.

Living in Centreville

Centreville is a sought after area, just far enough out to not be too crowded, yet close enough to everything to be convenient.

Here are some of the amenities easily driveable from Centre Ridge.

• Centre Ridge Marketplace

Just across from neighborhood is this large shopping center. This is complete with conveniences such as gas and car charging stations, a grocery store, banking and a large gym.

There is also entertainment here such as a movie theater and plenty of restaurants of different types both fast casual and sit down.

• Centrewood Plaza

This shopping center has more selection of restaurants, some international stores and grocery and a large selection of other stores from convenience to auto, daycare and more.

• Large Parks & Trail Systems

An easy drive or ambitious walk away are some large parks that are loaded with things to do. Izaak Walton park is right next to Centre Ridge.

Just beyond that is Bull Run Park, is a large 1,500+ acre park that has/and or is near a shooting range, private winery, camping, a waterpark, seasonal events, historic civil war sites and many, many miles of trails through nature and other landmarks.

• Recreation

There are several golf courses nearby and a selection of other sport courts in various parks in the area. You will also find plenty of places for a bike ride, hike or to play a pickup game.

There are also a selection of large gyms and a rec center nearby available for membership that offer you plenty of workout options.

• Transportation

Centre Ridge is right off of the 29 exit of Rt. 66. Highway 66 runs all the way to DC.

The neighborhood is also just about a 15-20 minute drive to Dulles Airport, which has domestic and international flights. The silver line in Herndon also is just about a 15-20 minute drive as well.
