Finding A Townhome In Courthouse
Some neighborhoods in DC region have a huge amount of homes, and thus large “turnover” or properties being sold each year.
Courthouse square in Fairfax VA is the exact opposite. Only a few sales occur per year, on average. On a very busy year, 7-8 sales occur.
And on a more typical year only 1-2.
Because of this low inventory, prices tend to go up in strong markets because of good old supply and demand.
The location is also great. Tucked back right off of the Old Town Fairfax City district. Old Town was revitalized in the early 2000s, and continues to add improvements.
If you are looking to buy one of these townhomes, it will take some extra work and patience.
The list above also includes “coming soon” properties, which are not yet on the market.
